Whole Lotta Zep 2012
The 3rd annual Whole Lotta Zepp gig happened at the Sugar Club in Dublin last week with a whole lotta drumming including Graham Hopkins & Johnny Boyle and more! From the WLZ site:
Whole Lotta Zepp are not just another Led Zeppelin tribute. We are a music collective dedicated to recreating the majesty of Zeppelin’s music as it sounded on their albums.
Whole Lotta Zepp’s maiden voyage was in the Sugar Club on 25th September 2010 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of John Bonham’s death. The show consisted of a number of classic Zep tunes, a three drummer working of Moby Dick, and a massive Zep medley consisting of 30 songs in 13 minutes.
This year the musicians tackled Houses of the Holy. We’re still waiting to see some video, but here are some gorgeous photos by Ronan Melia. See the rest here or click read more for a little photo gallery….

From LastTV – Glen talks about Seven Day Mile
Donal Scannell posted to YouTube a great piece he made for a TV show in the 90s called LastTV. He says:
A blast from the 90s! @Last TV was a great RTE 2 show made by Stopwatch TV who were very encouraging regarding ideas. The Singer & The Song was all about focusing on a songwriter and one of their songs. This one on Glen Hansard and The Seven Day Mile was shot in and around Glen’s Mother’s house in Dublin. Directed by Donal Scannell, Shot By Richard Kendrick. Produced by Susan Scannell, Mary Murphy and Tom Johnson.
