Burn The Maps turns 10

The Frames’ fifth studio album Burn The Maps turns 10 years old in Ireland on 17 September (worldwide release was later in February 2005). We’ll be sharing some of our favorite track by track videos/audio over social media the next few days and adding them here as we go along as well. Click through for the goods.

The Frames Live at Whelans via Arbutus Yarns

Myles O’Reilly & his crew have produced the first of 3 video installments from The Frames’ one-off appearance at Whelan’s in honor of the club’s 25th anniversary. A full length of the gig will be released sometime in 2015 as part of the band’s 25th anniversary (!!). Check it out here at the Arbutus Yarns website.


Tour Round Up

Glen, Graham, Rob, Joe, Justin, Michael, Curtis, Ronan, and Rob M (and Simon, Leon, Gerry & Mic!) just finished up their week-long 5 gig tour in America. We have finished gig pages for most of the shows over here & stay tuned for one from the Hollywood Bowl soon. Speaking of, Graham took over the Zildjian Company’s Instagram on the day of the Hollywood gig, have a look!

As of now, Glen’s next show is at this Brassland Records event at the National Concert Hall in Dublin in December. Rob & Joe will be joining Marketa Irglova on her North American & European tours this Fall in support of her new record, Muna, coming out in September. You can find all of those dates here.


The Frames Playing Whelan’s Next Monday

The Frames announced today that they will be performing at Whelan’s on June 30th, just a week away. This gig is part of Whelan’s year long 25th anniversary celebration. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday June 24th at 2pm online and also at the Whelans box office. Find more information here at!
