Myles O’Reilly Film
Filmmaker Myles O’Reilly has posted a short film he made from his travels with Glen & the Band in Italy this past April. From the YouTube post:
In April 2013 filmmaker Myles O’Reilly was invited on board the good ship Hansard to accompany Glen and his band around Italy for a few days while touring Italy in Europe to promote his debut solo album, Rhythm And Repose. Created over a year and a half while living in New York City, Rhythm And Repose was recorded by Patrick Dillett (David Byrne, Arto Lindsay, Laurie Anderson) and produced by Thomas Bartlett (Doveman, The National, Antony and the Johnsons) and is Glen’s first release since The Swell Season’s Strict Joy (2009) Click through…..

Colm also has a few solo gigs scheduled in Ireland at this point in time. One is this weekend at the Fiddle Fair in Baltimore, West Cork. The other 2 are in July: on the 14th at Inis Oirr Arts Centre on the Aran Islands & on the 18th at Balor Arts Centre in Ballybofey, County Donegal.
The Butchershop Quartet
Another project Rob is involved in, The Butcher Shop Quartet, will be performing 3 shows in May to support their recent release, “The Rite of Spring”.
