10 January 2016 brought the sad news of David Bowie’s passing. On 11 January, Glen sang backing vocals on his friend Thomas Bartlett’s cover of ‘Lazarus’. He also recorded and uploaded a cover of ‘Ashes to Ashes’. And on 12 January, he stopped by the impromptu memorial outside Bowie’s New York residence to play one song.
