9 December 2012 // Amsterdam, NL // Concerto Koffie

Setlist: Love Don’t Leave Me Waiting, This Gift, In These Arms, Seven Day Mile, Backbroke, Forever Young (Bob Dylan), Heyday (Mic Christopher), Movin On – Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash) – Maybelline (Chuck Berry), Rise, Devil Town (Daniel Johnston)

Notes: Fun in-store set – Glen noted before ‘In These Arms’ that the song was about people who can tell you things about yourself and that he nearly missed his flight today as a result of someone at the airport who was telling him things about himself that he needed to know. Behind him on the stage were big pictures of Johnny Cash, Billie Holiday and Bob Dylan and someone in the crowd suggested he do a Cash tune and he of course managed to do both a Cash tune and a Dylan tune. ‘Rise’ was dedicated to his good friend Siobhan who was in the audience who he said he had known for several lifetimes. He was originallygoing to do another song but changed his mind as he didn’t think it was the appropriate song to dedicate to his friend. The place was packed and Glen noted that there were more people here than the in-store earlier this year.

[Thanks to Fleur for the setlist & notes.]
