17 March 2012 // Austin, TX // The Four Seasons

Setlist: In These Arms, Low Rising – Sexual Healing (Marvin Gaye), Drive All Night (Bruce Springsteen) – Feels Like Rain (John Hiatt), Lovin’s For Fools (Sara Siskind), Song of Good Hope, The Parting Glass (Traditional)

Notes: The show is for KUT and broadcast live on Ustream. This is Glen’s 6th and final show of SXSW 2012 and as it starts at 9:00 am, he jokes that he only just finished playing Antone’s two hours previous. Jake Clemons joins Glen for ‘Low Rising’ and ‘Drive All Night’. Glen invites Sarah Siskind to sing one of her songs. Glen sings ‘Parting Glass’ after a brief explanation that the snakes St. Patrick famously chased out of Ireland were a metaphor for the feminine and the pagans, and “If ever we needed the pagans and the feminine (back in Ireland), it’s right now”, so he urges people visiting Ireland to bring the feminine back to Ireland. Metaphorically.

You can stream the whole show or download it from KUT.org here, which also has photos from the show.
