15 December 2010 // Dublin, IE // Whelan’s

Main Set: Plateau – Jane Says (Jane’s Addiction), Giving Me Wings, Instrumental, Seven Day Mile, God Bless Mom – Little Arithmetics (dEUS) – Horse Outside (Rubberbandits), Stars are Underground, What Happens When the Heart Just Stops, The Dancer, Happy, Finally, Suspicious Minds, Rent Day Blues, Pavement Tune, Star Star – Hotellounge, Revelate

Encore: Lay Me Down (punk version), Santa Maria, Disappointed, Joe Song, Fitzcarraldo, Monument, The Auld Triangle (Traditional)

Comments: After Colm’s solo in ‘Seven Day Mile’, Glen says, “Twenty years in a band with that man” and then they share a fist bump.  ‘The Dancer’ is introduced as a song written “Back when stalking someone was worked out between the two of you”.  The punk version of ‘Lay Me Down’ is played for the first time without the lead-in of the original version. Glen then pretends he’s going to play ‘Star Star’ in the same fashion, drawing boos from some of the crowd and cheers from others.  At the end of the night, Glen announces that all the money from this gig is going to Derek Nally’s family and he dedicates ‘The Auld Triangle’ to Derek’s family that are in attendance. Then he calls Mundy up to sing it with the band. Derek Nally was a beloved Irish promoter who passed away suddenly in July.
